Good-bye Saskatoon

Tuesday, August 16, was the day we left Saskatoon after having lived there for 6 weeks during our house renovation. It was hard to say good-bye.

Good-bye Deck :( We enjoyed hanging out on you in the sun, drinking Cokes and Guinesses. We enjoyed splashing in the pool on you and playing with water and throwing balls off of you. We enjoyed lying in the Pogy crib under the tree and watching the leaves.

Good-bye Garden :( We enjoyed eating all your fresh produce -- lettuce, Swiss chard, beans, peas, strawberries, potatoes, zucchini, onions, cucumbers, beets, carrots -- and picking it -- beans, strawberries, peas and summer savory. You fed us well Garden.

Good-bye Screen Tent and Back Stairs :( We enjoyed hanging out in you during the mosquito-y times. We enjoyed building you with Opa and then walking on you.

Good-bye Trees and Yard :( We enjoyed planting you and watering you and driving the tractor on you with Opa.

And mostly, Good-bye Oma and Opa :( We loved being with you for six weeks. We enjoyed your food, your company, having coffee/Guiness/wine and milk, rocking with you, reading the "bird book" and "flower book" with you, baking buns with you, talking with you, driving tractor with you, making pasta with you, and just being able to spend so much time with you.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
